At its heart, it is a meeting of two timelines. One belongs to pre-independence India, to the zamindar era when music and dance thrived under patronage, when mehfils were intimate and classical art was treated with deep respect. The other belongs to today, where we often search for our roots while navigating a fast and distracted world. Through this composition, I wanted these two worlds to slowly merge. The bridge between them is Indian classical music. A single melody in Raag Yaman becomes the thread that connects generations, reminding us that tradition never truly fades.
